We do not share your personal information, mobile number, or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We only share information when necessary to operate our services, respond to wildlife assistance requests, process donations, comply with the law, or protect people, animals, and the public.
Privacy Policy
Urban Wildlife Alliance may collect information you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, donation information, volunteer information, and information submitted through our website forms, helpline, email, phone, web chat, SMS/text messages, or other communication channels.
If you contact us for wildlife assistance, we may also collect information related to the situation, such as the species involved, the animal’s condition, the location or general area, photos or videos you choose to provide, and details needed to help us respond or make an appropriate referral.
We use this information to respond to inquiries, provide wildlife assistance or referrals, communicate with volunteers, donors, and supporters, process donations, share educational and advocacy updates, coordinate programs, improve our services, and comply with applicable laws and nonprofit recordkeeping requirements.
We may use trusted service providers to help operate our website, helpline, AI receptionist, email, SMS/text messaging, donation processing, data storage, and other nonprofit operations. SMS/Text Messaging Privacy
If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from Urban Wildlife Alliance, you consent to receive automated informational and occasional promotional or outreach SMS/MMS messages from us. These may include helpline follow-up, wildlife assistance updates, appointment or service updates, volunteer and training updates, educational alerts, event announcements, advocacy updates, fundraising updates, and other mission-related communications.
Consent to receive text messages is not required to receive wildlife assistance, make a donation, volunteer, or otherwise interact with Urban Wildlife Alliance.

You may cancel SMS/text messaging at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, we will send a confirmation message to acknowledge your request, and you will no longer receive SMS/text messages from us unless you opt in again.

Donations
Online donations may be processed through third-party payment processors. Urban Wildlife Alliance does not store complete credit card information on our website. Donation information is used to process donations, issue receipts, maintain required records, and communicate with supporters about our work.

Urban Wildlife Alliance provides information, education, referrals, and assistance in good faith. Our guidance is not a substitute for emergency services, veterinary care, legal advice, or direction from a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, veterinarian, animal control agency, or government authority.
Wildlife situations can be urgent, dangerous, and location-specific. Do not attempt dangerous rescues, climb ladders, enter unsafe areas, handle potentially dangerous animals, handle rabies-vector species, or take any action that may put people or animals at risk. In emergencies involving immediate danger to people, call 911 or the appropriate emergency authority.
We cannot guarantee rescue, transport, placement, rehabilitation, response time, outcome, or volunteer availability.
SMS/Text Messaging Terms
By opting in, you agree to receive Urban Wildlife Alliance notifications and alerts, including automated informational and occasional promotional or outreach SMS/MMS messages.
