Welcome to the Urban Wildlife Alliance
We are a true grassroots, all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of New York City’s wildlife.
Our goal is to promote a caring and compassionate society where all wildlife is treated as sentient beings and where we create an environment that benefits humans and our wild neighbors alike.

About Us
The Urban Wildlife Alliance was born in the spring of 2013, when a small group of wildlife enthusiasts, rescuers, and licensed rehabilitators joined forces to help the wildlife of NYC.
-
Our Work
As a network of experienced licensed wildlife rehabilitators and rescuers, we put our mission into practice by engaging in four main activities: Advocacy, Rehabilitation, Education, and Advice.

Get Involved
Eight million people, 355 wildlife species, and only a handful of wildlife rehabilitators to carry the load. PLEASE HELP US TO HELP THEM!
